Fr. Brian Lewis
Pastor
Ordained a priest of Jesus Christ by the Most Reverend W. Francis Malooly on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on June 8, 2013, Father Lewis has served as Parochial Vicar at St. John the Beloved Parish, St. Elizabeth Parish and St. Joseph on the Brandywine Parish, all in Wilmington, Delaware. Most recently, he was Administrator of St. Benedict-St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Ridgely and Denton, Maryland. Presently, he is pastor at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Lewes, Delaware.
Prior to ordination, Fr. Lewis taught French language and literature for fourteen years in the Haddon Township School District of New Jersey, where he also initiated several exchange programs with cooperating high schools in Toulouse and Colmar, France.
Spiritual Director for the Diocese of Wilmington’s annual Marian Pilgrimage, Fr. Lewis has an abiding devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and an even deeper devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist. He feels a particular calling to promote devotion to the Holy Spirit. He is grateful and filled with joy to serve the People of God and hopes to live his share in the Priesthood of Jesus Christ in the words of St. John the Baptist: Jesus Christ must increase; I must decrease (John 3:30).

Fr. Cornelius Acholo
Associate Pastor
Rev. Fr. Cornelius Acholo was born on June 9, 1978, in Nigeria. Raised in a devout Catholic family, he was nurtured in the faith from an early age.
In 1991, like the biblical young Samuel, Cornelius began his formative journey toward the Priesthood at Saint Kizito High School Seminary, Idah, Kogi State.
Upon completing his high school seminary education, he advanced to Saints Peter and Paul College Seminary, Ibadan, Oyo State, from 1998 to 2006, where he pursued philosophical and theological studies. These years deepened his intellectual understanding of the faith and strengthened his spiritual and pastoral skills, preparing him for the Priesthood.
On July 14, 2007, Fr. Cornelius was ordained a Priest, fulfilling a lifelong calling. His ordination marked the beginning of a vibrant and impactful ministry that has touched countless lives. His love for meeting people and engaging with diverse communities has been a hallmark of his Priesthood.
